Highest grade Japanese green tea. This shade grown tea is covered with black curtains several weeks before the picking so that the chlorophyll content in the leaves is increased. A full flavoured green tea that has a satisfying light refreshing character. Tending pleasantly vegetative with some briskness.
Tip: Use 1 tsp per 6 oz cup; heat fresh water to 80C; let steep 1-3 minutes, good for multiple infusions. Good for multiple infusions.
