School of tea
The Tea Emporium features Canada’s first School of Tea.
A serene setting invites you into the fascinating world of tea with all its rich history and flavours.
A variety of different tea seminars and tastings are offered on a bi-weekly basis.
The schedule for January - March 2010 is listed below and is subject to change
depending on our customer responses. Seminars start at $25.00 per person and include sampling, course materials and a little take home gift.
Private tastings can be arranged with a minimum of eight students.
Separate to our bi-weekly seminars we are now offering The Tea Specialist
Certificate. This certificate is designed to offer students a thorough
understanding of tea, where it comes from, how it is processed, its history and
social impact as well as the health benefits. This course will be offered
over a two day period. Please follow the link for more information:

We have also created together with The Tea Council of Canada and George Brown
